Uri Carnat
Director of Client Relations and Business Development, Canada

Originally from Nova Scotia, Uri has had a broad Canadian experience, having spent time living in Charlottetown (Prince Edward Island), Guelph (Ontario), Calgary (Alberta), and before joining the IDP team in Toronto, 22 years in Montreal (Quebec). Uri is responsible for overseeing all IDP activity and growth in Canada, including secondary and post-secondary partnerships, the IDP-owned IELTS exam, and in-country student services. He comes to the company with eight years of leadership experience in international private education, and with an extensive background in student services and international travel.

 

Michael Lucci
Partner Relations Manager

Michael was one of the first IDP North America employees, and helped define the process for managing university partner relationships.  He was mentored by an international education professional with more than 10 years experience overseeing the strategic planning, marketing, enrolment, and immigration functions of an international office.  Michael focuses on developing partnerships to help institutions reach their enrolment goals and brand their offerings overseas.

 

Ayanna Brady
Partner Relations Manager

Ayanna has spent the majority of her career developing emerging markets in global education. She specialises in diversity and has taught and advised both international students and new immigrants in North America and abroad.  She has traveled, studied, lived, and worked abroad.  Ayanna’s role at IDP is to help establish each institution within our counselling Network and to provide ongoing partner support.

 

Rita Chen
Operations Support and Office Manager

A native of Toronto, Rita has had 8 years of experience working in international education.  She has had the opportunity to not only travel extensively but has also resided in Tokyo (Japan), Seoul (Korea), Frankfurt (Germany), New York (USA), and Montreal for a number of years.  She speaks English, Mandarin, Japanese, and Korean, and is currently working on her French.  Rita will be responsible for assisting with IDP Canada's growth and activities, and providing ongoing support to both client and network offices.

IDP China Summer Series

IDP offices in China will be holding a six-city roadshow from June 16-July 1, 2012. This roadshow allows IDP partner schools to meet and counsel students of varying educational backgrounds.
